  1. It was a joy to watch this, as a good friend just had to return a shelter dog, because said dog wanted only one human in his life and my friend was married.

    • One of my shelter dogs, Hazel, had been returned to the shelter 4 times when I brought her home. She was returned for repeatedly showing aggression to people other than the one who brought her home. She did the same with us. She turned from a sweet little 13 lb terrier mix into Cudjoe when my husband arrived home. She was going to kill him if he got near me. I had been given a briefing on her history so was expecting this. A terrible case of resource guarding. I was the resource as well as the corner of the love seat she had taken to, and to her chosen toy, and even the carrier I brought her home in. I did some research and with the help of my vet and a trainer she went onto Prozac and into intensive training. She became a wonderful dog while I’m her human, she prefers to sleep with my husband and no longer has aggression toward any other people. She weaned off the Prozac and is a very happy dog, but it took a lot of time, patience and some money.

  2. Beautiful video of the little boy FINALLY getting his dog, but all I could picture is the family at the dog park, and hearing them yell…

    “STELLA”! 😅🤣
