It only lasted an hour but I needed it. Gladys was resting well and didn’t have any work I absolutely had to this afternoon so the husband and I drove over to the beach and sat on the seawall for a bit. Sunny and 67 degrees F, it was beautiful.

Fearsome Beard 
I liked Mission Beach, though mostly we would go to Imperial Beach because I had an apartment there. Someone told me that it’s all built up now.
I’ve been here 33 years and while both have had changes and gotten a bit more dense, our beaches are still nothing compared to east coast. For the most part mission beach, and Imperial, have just seen larger more luxury homes replace a number of original cottages. The 3 story height limit is still in place, thank goodness.
