She had surgery yesterday. It seems that her eye wasn’t punctured but the interaction caused her previous incision to burst. The ophthalmologist said the bursting of her incision may have actually saved her eye from worse damage has it yapped with the cataract still in place. He was able to re-suture her previous incision and re-inflate her eye. She has another 30 days recovery, but I’ll probably keep her in her come longer just to be sure. We really won’t know how well this does until 30 days out. Her ophthalmologist is optimistic though so please keep us in your thoughts. Healing energy helps no matter how far away it come from.
She is well medicated and resting. Thank all of you for your love and support.

Gladys home after second surgery for another 4, or more, weeks in her cone. That’s her sister Patsy on the other side of the gate, Patsy is gentle and loves her.
Sending best wishes to BOTH of you!

❤️ Thank you.
Shawn, so sorry to hear about what Gladys and you have been through. That poor little girl, it must have been so frightening considering all of the care you provided during her healing. Sending all positive thoughts and healing energy for her and for you. Your a great dog dad and I’m sure she knows that and feels your love through the hugs and care you give her. Keep us updated so we see her positive outcome.
Thank you Ed, will do.
Gladys looks like a spunky little fighter so I hope she comes through everything with flying colours! Best wishes, little one!

Sending good energy to all of you. My heart ached while reading your previous post. Glad it’s looking like things will ultimately work out for you. ❤️
So much gratitude for your support.
Relieving and promising! So glad to hear she has such a skilled ophthalmologist. No need to ask for more thoughts and prayers. They’re hers and yours through the 30 days update and then some. ✌️🌈
We are blessed to have great care available for her. I’m blessed that we have the means to get it, so grateful.
Well it’s an outcome that, if far from ideal. at least avoids the worst it could have been. Be brave, little Glad. We’re all rooting for you!
She, and I, say Thank you RB.
