    Thanks for posting the San Diego 2024 Pride Parade video… unfortunately I wasn’t able to attend this year, currently caring for my mother in N CA.

    But noticed the photo used from the 2023 Pride Parade features ME right in front caring the FLAG! I’m in the light blue t-shirt wearing my beads, on the left side!

    Was such a “high” helping to lead those behind me carrying that massive flag down University, turning onto 6th Avenue, and into Balboa Park! Thousands of people lining the streets and on balconies…. cheering, clapping, smiling and taking photos/videos!

    Still get emotional when I think about it! 😢

    Incidentally this photo was on the cover of last years Union-Tribune newspaper… above the “fold”!

    • Wow! I had no idea you were in that cover photo. What a treasure and I’m happy channel 8 decided to use it. Thank you for carrying our flag. I hope all is ok with your mom. I lost mine last October after having her live with me the last 5 years here in San Diego. Happy Pride!
