To say that Dolly is an angel in my life is an understatement. Thank you Dolly for being one of the best parts of the soundtrack of my life. One of my earliest memories is hearing you on the radio in my mother’s 1967 Buick. Thankfully you are still with me to this day and hopefully for many more years to come.

I like the Dolly version, but I’ve seen the Broadway version with all of the hookers lamenting over the closing of the whorehouse and that’s better.
