Always good to see Frank in his ‘tolerant and progressive’ earlier life, before he turned into the crusty old reactionary he sadly was to become. He was one of those relatively rare singers in which one could make out every single word without our having to try –
a characteristic nowadays rare as hens’ teeth! And Dean was ever a splendid act, both when the worse for drink or when he put it on (for show?).
Loved this… remember watching all the holiday variety shows… with Frank, Dean, Bing, Perry, and even the Lawrence Welk show! I wouldn’t mind “time traveling” back for one more Christmas in the
mid-late 60s to enjoy once again, when life was much simpler!.🤗🎄

Rumor has it that although Dean was a drinker, often it was tea in those glasses he was holding on camera as some of it was also an act.
One of my favorite holiday songs right into the winter months.
I rather enjoy it too!
Always a cheery, spirit-lifting song!
Yes it is!

Those shows were so much fun. Still are if we remember to pull them up and watch again!
