Yes I was. She loved Fearsome.
It is interesting to think of which people on the cast had lasting cultural legacies. Kirk? Sure. Spock? Well, sort of. But would we have predicted the enormous impact of Uhura and epecially Sulu?
Her role was groundbreaking. An inspiring woman.

It’s an honor so he’s blessed.
I can say she was definitely a beard aficionado that day I met her, and sounds as if she always was.
