This song gets a lot of fuss nowadays with some feeling it is harassing which makes others rush to its defense so now it is spoiled from both political ends.
This particular original one features it from both directions as it ends with the woman as the pursuer. It’s truly intended to be all in fun. Quite the well intertwined lyrics deserving of it’s academy award. I post it every year from different perspectives and I’ve been lectured to about it from several directions.
