Silence equals death. Don’t stay silent.

  1. Sadly, each of the previous comments are painfully true but the old Act Up slogan caught my attention. More than once I noticed Silence=Death spray painted on walls in my Seattle neighborhood around ’88 and a gay friend explained to me the meaning. A few years later and during an angry phase of my Recovery, I twisted it into Serenity=Death but that was in a previous century and I’ve not looked back.

  2. How can I not? The reaction from people is not supportive. I have No one but a website. I think silence is necessary for me to keep going. I probably wouldn’t tell a young person that, but that is what my experiences have been.
