I was only talking about Daphne du Maurier (from whose short story this film is expanded) yesterday on another person’s blog. Spooky! (If stretching it a bit).
This morning I read about Tippi Hedren’s memoirs in which she recounts how Hitch would bodily throw himself at her,Trump-style, expecting her to respond in amorous manner, but which she rebuffs and then has to face the the vengeful consequences ,Thanks goodness that such characters are now a thing of the past!
While Spouse doesn’t like actual birds, we both enjoy watching this film whenever its on TV. There are so many cool cinematic delights. (Not special effects, but rather, wonderful foreshadowing and presumed horror.) Hitchcock was a master!
Been watching a marathon on Attenna TV of the hour long show ….. defintely brings back memories.
