Sharing from my own experience I’ve found that the only way to overcome an obstacle in life is to look beyond it and keep moving. It’s ok to stop and look at the obstacle, then acknowledge it for what it is and get back on track.
I believe that’s the difference between a pessimist and an optimist. The pessimist thoroughly investigates all aspects of their undesirable situation, and tries to draw others into its unpleasantness. The optimist recognizes what is, but looks up or forward in order to focus on what will be. The latter is the happier of the two, and a better contributor to society.
